The venue for the annual dinner was to be decided between Yacht Club and CCI. Since we are expecting a large number as compared to last year, it was felt that the Yacht Club Ball Room would accommodate a larger number. Partha spoke to the Yacht Club people and is to confirm whether it is on 3 rd March, 2006 (Friday) or the following Friday. He confirmed that the rate is Rs.270/- per head which is inclusive of all taxes and a deposit of Rs.5, 000/- for the Ball Room.

Regarding raising funds for the college, copy of the letter of Dr.Anil Wilson, Principal was circulated and the group noted that projects had been identified as under:

Getting sponsorships for the various items for the proposed three day match between England XI and CCI President’s XI on 18/19/20 Feb.2006. The tariff for advertising for the various items ranges between Rs.50, 000 to Rs.5 Lakhs. All advertisements obtained with the help of SWIS network would generate 10% which would go the college funds
b)
Sponsorship thru banners to be displayed at the venue of the Annual Dinner
c)
Mr.Shankar Menon suggested that Personal letters be sent out to Stephanians requesting for an amount of Rs.5,000/- to be paid by those below 40 years of age and any amount higher than Rs.5,000/- for those above 40 years. He would also explore the possibility of getting Income-tax waiver / rebate for qualifying it as a donation
